One of HIG’s Core Values is Supporting the Local Community. Throughout the year, HIG looks for ways to give back. Whether that comes in the form of blood drives, donating to local food banks, or volunteering at any number of organizations, HIG is proud of it’s commitment to community betterment.

The HIG Foundation was designed to give our company, our staff, and the community an opportunity to give back to organizations that help further causes that support both local and national efforts. Our mission is to help people Insure Bright Futures through our charitable giving.

HIG believes in taking an active part in our community and supporting charities that our employees believe in through our quarterly giving program. Once every quarter, three employee-nominated charities are pulled from a bucket and the HIG Foundation donates $1,000 to each one.

HIG employees are also encouraged to use their allotted 10 hours of VTO (Volunteer Time Off) to give back to the local community how they see fit.
